We got our helmet today - TAKE #2

Okay, time to crawl out from under my blogger rock...

Please forgive me for it has been an embarassingly long time since my last post (this sounds alot like Confession and I am not even Catholic), but I have been too darn distracted the past few months with house remodels, pediatric opthomology appointments (we have learned Maya will probably need glasses very soon - but that is another post), pediatric immunizations, pediatric plastic surgery consults for Zoe, and you guessed it ...helmet fittings...hooray!!! Some might be thinking, "I thought she already got that helmet for Maya?" Well that is correct, but this helmet would be for daughter #2...Yes Zoe, too, has been found to be helmet worthy. Even though her flat spot is considerable more mild than Maya's, I just can't bare the thought of her coming to me a decade from now and saying, "Hey mom, how come you fixed sister's head and not mine...Does that mean you love her more?" So we proceeded with helmet number 2 with considerably more zeal than the first. We have been amazed at the incedible results we have seen with Maya in just the last two months that I am confient that Zoe's correction will be rather quick to address. So the little Zobo will don her head gear for the next two months and from that point on have a perfectly round head for the rest of her days...oh the things we do for our kids...:) I think she looks too cute with her little pink, purple, and blue hearts and butterflies...but then I always think she is cute...I'm her mom!

I just ran across your blog today. I look forward to more posts to come. Those girls are simply adorable.

I know how you feel about the glasses. My daughter also has to wear them and has since she was 1. She has done very well with them and now seeks them out.

Also one other tidbit from one of your previous posts is on the camera flash. If you put your camera on the sports setting it should be quicker.

I hope that helps.

Take care.
