Maya and Zoe Milestones

As a mother of twins the work is never done and one of the things that I would like to do and have just not been able to follow through with as of yet is to record all of the girls little milestones of development. I have several cute calendars to do this. But I never seem to get myself to do actually transcribe on them. So I have decided to create an entry on this blog where I can hop on the computer and update the milestones whenever one should occur. I find myself on the computer much more frequently so I hope this helps my efforts.


Zoe
4/28/06 - Zoe pushes herself up into the sitting position
4/14/06 - rocking back and forth on her knees - prepping to crawl
3/30/06 - Cut her first tooth on the same day as sister!
2/14/06 - Zoe rolls over and over front to back back to front like a little tootsie roll...it makes me laugh out loud to watch!
2/11/06 - Both girls discovered they love their two new big girl toys - the exersuacer and the Jumperoo! Mommy loves them two...since it gives her two more engaging options to keep the little boogies occupied!
2/05/06 - Likes to immediately roll to her back when given tummy time...she thinks this is very funny!
1/26/06 - Discovered the art of sucking her thumb...uh oh...
1/25/06 - Have 4 mo. shots - but doc said she was doing awesome!
1/25/06 - rolled from tummy to back several times! -
1/23/06 - rolled over on to side all by herself! Yeah!



Maya
4/27/06 - Took her first bath sitting up all by herself!
4/25/06 - Began rolling over in crib to sleep on stomach (even with her helmet on)
4/22/06 - Began to consistently roll from back to front (I hink her helmet was an additional hurdle to surpass, but now she is becoming a little Tootsie Roll like her sister
3/30/06 - Cut her first tooth on the same day as sister!
2/12/06 - Finally was able to heave her girth over from herback to her stomach...I had stepped out of the room for a moment but when I returned she was on her belly. I still can't quite believe it. It is funny to see how much harder it is for maya to roll (than Zoe) since she has so much more belly up front.

2/06/06 - Has discovered her thumb as a self-soothing tool when going down to sleep...this makes for a quick transition to Lalaland but mommy isn't sure the thumb is a good thing long term. :}
2/05/06 - She held her own bottle with both hands all by herself and fedd herself for over two minutes...very cool!
1/25/06 - Have 4 mo. shots - but doc said she was doing awesome!
1/17/06 - Entered size 2 diapers - her tummy simply could no longer fit into the 1's. Maya has a cuddly tummy for sure!
